On the tenth day of YA book recommendations, I am sharing two book to movie adaptations that I enjoyed this year!
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl is hilarious; I’m not even exaggerating when I say I was laughing out loud for most of it. It’s a very entertaining read, and I thought the movie was a great adaptation of the book. You can read my full book to movie adaptation review here. Overall, I definitely recommend both the book and movie.
The DUFF book and movie are way different from each other. Both are good, but definitely different from each other. My full book to movie adaptation review can be seen here. Even though the movie is way different from the book, the main theme of acceptance stays the same, which to me is the most important part. Overall, I’d definitely recommend going to see The DUFF if you’re in need of a good laugh. Also, if you do go see it or even if you don’t, I definitely suggest you read the book at some point!
