On the fourth day of YA Book Recommendations, I’m sharing my favorite psychological thrillers!
Kara Thomas’s The Darkest Corners and Little Monsters are fantastic psychological thrillers. Both novels have slower pacing, but this adds to the tension and intensity of the story. Each mystery is unique and will leave you up late at night trying to guess what happened. Thomas is a master at character-driven suspense, and I eagerly await her next novel.

Check out last year’s thrillers recommendations!
I haven’t heard of her books before. Thrillers aren’t really my thing but I am getting more into them. Might have to pick these two up 🙂 Great recommendation.
I definitely love her books! You’ll have to let me know what you think if you read them. Hopefully you’ll enjoy them as much as I did!
I loved both of those books!! Thrillers are my fave and I try my hardest to look for the good ones. My faves this year were– Bad Girls with Perfect Faces by Lynn Weingarten, Follow Me Back by A.V. Geiger, and When I am Through with You by Stephanie Kuehn.
I’ll definitely have to check out all of those books! I love thrillers, too, but usually have a hard time finding them.
These recommendations are so helpful 🙂 I’ve heard great things about these books so I’m definitely going to read them soon!
Thanks, Kelly!! I had a fun time putting together this feature—I’m already thinking about and excited for the books I’ll include in next year’s round of recommendations!
