On the fifth day of YA Book Recommendations, I’m sharing my new favorite contemporary novel!
Noteworthy is one of my favorite reads this year! Think Pitch Perfect meets She’s the Man. I adored so much about this book, especially the relationships, storyline, and humor. It’s such a fun take on boarding schools, a cappella, and masquerading as someone else. Plus, the cast of characters is fantastic and extremely diverse. I highly recommend this one! Like, drop whatever you’re reading now and pick it up right away! Still curious? Read my 5-star review here.

That’s a great pick. I didn’t love it quite as much as everyone else – just because the whole acapella focus isn’t my thing but I really did love the author’s voice and so many other things about it.
For What It’s Worth
The author’s voice was really good! I’m sad to hear you didn’t love it as much as I did, but I can totally understand not liking it as much if you’re not a fan of a capella.
Sounds so cute!!! My fave Contemp is probably To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han or any of Emma Mills’ books.
I adore To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before!! It’s definitely one of my favorite trilogies! I’ve only read Emma Mills’ first novel, but the other two are definitely in my TBR pile!
