The 100 and Day 21 by Kass Morgan — 4 stars and 4.5 stars
I kicked off the year with a major reading slump. During this slump, I watched way too many tv shows to count, including catching up to the latest The 100 episodes on the CW. I was hooked so much on The 100 that I needed something else in that world while I waited for the episodes to start back up again. Queue excitement when I found out about the books. I picked up the first, which was okay, but Day 21 was definitely a lot better. There are many differences from the show (canon Bellarke, I repeat CANON BELLARKE), but I believe they work for their separate art forms.

Strange and Ever After by Susan Dennard — 5 stars
This month I finally picked up Susan Dennard’s thrilling conclusion to the Something Strange & Deadly series and let me tell you, it’s heartbreaking. I loved Strange & Ever After just as much as I did the first two books. Once again, Susan Dennard has brought wonderful characters, plot, and settings to life. Susan sure knows how to write a heart-breaking conclusion. This trilogy is phenomenal and definitely worth a read!

All Fall Down by Ally Carter — 5 stars
Lastly, I read Ally Carter’s All Fall Down. I’ve been a huge Ally Carter fan since 7th grade. I’ve followed her through both of her other series and I was ecstatic when I learned that she was going to write a new series! I was one of the lucky Ally Ambassadors to receive an ARC before it was published. I loved All Fall Down and I can’t wait for the next two books. If you’re a fan of Ally Carter’s writing, you won’t be disappointed.
