Bookish Highlights

Promoted to senior associate of audience engagement and worked all year on the launch of Love, Underlined
Attended . . .
- 20 book signings, including events for Lisa Yee/Dan Santat, Nicola Yoon, Falon Ballard, Julie Abe, Julia Quinn, Rachel Lynn Solomon/Morgan Matson/Marisa Kanter, Jessica Parra, Peng Shepherd, James Ponti, Katrina Emmel, Taylor Jenkins Reid, Ally Carter, Kathleen Glasgow/Alexa Donne, Sabaa Tahir/Tahereh Mafi, Stephanie Wrobel, Katherine Rundell, Christopher Paolini, Marissa Meyer/Joanne Levy, Katharine McGee, and Carole Hopson
- 7 book festivals, including Love Y’all Romance Book Fest, LA Times Festival of Books, North Texas Teen Book Festival, YALLWest, OC Book Fair, Steamy Lit Con, and YALLFest (4 were for work!)
- 2 book club meetings, where we discussed The Rule Book and Haunted Ever After
Hung out with book friends in real life (I met up with a ton of new and old bookstagram friends throughout the year) <3

Reading Stats

Read 112 books, 30 of which were from RHCB (aka where I work)
October was my largest reading month with 19 books read (lots of picture books!)
Mystery was my most read genre, with romance and graphic novels tying for second
Read 40 Nancy Drew and/or Hardy Boys books (I’m a huge collector!)
