August is just around the corner, which means it’s time for Read.Sleep.Repeat’s annual ARC August! If you don’t already know, ARC August is a month-long challenge where bloggers try to read as many of their ARCs as they can and cheer on the other participants. This year there’s also going to a Bookish Bingo, which I am so excited about! I’m kind of terrible about making a TBR for the month because I am very much a mood reader. However, the five books below I definitely plan on reading as I have reviews due.
The books below are ARCs I would love to get to this month—most of them are from NetGalley and should have been reviewed ages ago. Honestly, I am SO behind on reading eArcs. I’ve kind of been in a reading slump all year, so I’m hoping this challenge will help me get out of it. I have a bunch of others so we’ll see what I actually pick up when the times comes.
i’m also participating in ARC August and i’m so hyped! i did it last year and it definitely helped me catch up on the books i needed to read! ignite the stars and what if it’s us is also on my list since i reaaally need to catch up on bookexpo books ahaha 🙂
lovely post!
Thank you! I hope you met your ARC August goals!
I’ve been in a slump literally since last June! But ARC August is definitely making me want to tackle some of the books I have sitting on my shelves. I’ve seen Ignite the Stars on a few list so I wish you luck and don’t forget to have fun with it!!! 🙂
Thanks, Octavia! I had so much fun reading all the book in August! It did lead to a reading slump come fall, though. Hoping your slump has ended by now!
I haven’t heard of ARC August before but I’m definitely going to check it out because it sounds fun! I hope you enjoy the books you chose 🙂
Yay! I’m glad I could introduce you to this fun challenge!
Good luck!
Thank you!
I’m doing it again after it really motivated me last year. That elusive 80% isn’t in sight but the 70% is!
I’m so far away from 80% but I want it so badly! I guess that should be my 2019 goal!
I am also planning on participating! To Be Honest and What If It’s Us are both among my favorites of the year so far. The Last Summer of the Garrett Girls was also wonderful! Best of luck with your reading in August! <3
I’m so glad you loved these ones so much! To Be Honest is one of my favorites of the year as well!
I had 5. I read 2
Nice! Which ones have you read?
