These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner — 4 stars
I won’t lie—These Broken Stars was a total cover buy. I mean, just look at that gorgeous cover! Well, I finally read it after it being on my shelf for a few years and it was totally different from what I was expecting. It’s a high-stakes survival story about Lilac and Tarver, the only survivors after the spaceliner they were on crashes down on an abandoned planet. Told through dual POVs, they must work together to travel across this unknown terrain in hopes of finding someone—or something—to help them return home. Full of romance, thrilling stakes, and supernatural occurrences, this book will send your heart racing!

Aurora Burning by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff — 4 stars
I absolutely loved Aurora Rising so I was very excited for Aurora Burning to release! I enjoyed this sequel a lot, but not as much as I loved the first book. Mostly because of Eshvaren part, which made the middle of the book drag on. But I still love these characters so much and can’t wait for the conclusion (because oh my gosh that cliff hanger, am I right?).

Nancy Drew: The Palace of Wisdom by Kelly Thompson; illustrated by Jenn St. Onge — 4 stars
The Palace of Wisdom
was a fun modern-day Nancy Drew graphic novel! The characters stayed true to the original but were still different enough in this update. And I was also glad that the Hardy Boys were part of the story! I would love to read a sequel.

The Avant-Guards, Volume 2 by Carly Usdin and Noah Hayes — 4 stars
The Avant-Guards
is such a fun graphic novel series! I love the vibrant art so much and the focus on a close-knit college basketball team. This second volume starts to explore more the of the other teammates, which was great. Looking forward to the final volume!
