On the ninth day of YA book recommendations, I’m sharing a retelling of a classic fairytale!
As the title implies, Geekerella is a retelling of the classic Cinderella. There’s our main character Elle, her “evil” stepmother and step sisters, and Darien, the actor playing the prince in the reboot of Elle’s favorite show, Starfield. What makes this retelling different is the focus on fandom. Anyone who has ever been a part of a fandom before will understand Elle and Darien’s connection to it and fall in love with their charming story.
