Happy June! Summer is here, and I’m excited to get Happy June! Summer is here, and I’m excited to get in all the reading time during an upcoming vacation.

I’ve been in bit of a reading slump, so I think some dedicated time will be just the thing to get me out of this rut. I binged a handful of graphic novels at the end of May, so that’s already helped!

🎧 Rolls and Rivalry
📖 Specter Inspectors
📖 Batter Royale
📖 King Cheer
📖 Flip

As for what I’ve been watching . . . like everyone else, I binged Off Campus as soon as it dropped! I also finally caught up on season 5 of Abbott Elementary this past month and saw Sheep Detectives in theaters (and cried).

What was your favorite part of May? Any new fave books or tv shows?

We had a blast celebrating @kealakendall and her Hawaiian Gothic novel (which is a @sunnie select!) last month at the gorgeous @grassroom_dtla. Everyone created their own body scrub to take home (workshop led by @oops_art_happens), enjoyed refreshing lemonade, and created fun content in the large venue.

Biggest shoutout to my @getunderlined #TeamPRH colleagues for pulling together the event with me and everyone who joined us for this wonderful afternoon!
HAPPY GOOD GIRL’S GUIDE TO MURDER DAY! Who else i HAPPY GOOD GIRL’S GUIDE TO MURDER DAY!

Who else is excited for season two?! I loved this series way before I even started working for @getunderlined #TeamPRH and so I’m very excited the story is back on our screens.

I think a rewatch of season one is in order for me this week, so I can binge season two this weekend! And then will most likely want to do series reread after that. If you haven’t read this series already, I highly recommend the audiobooks!

This gorgeous venue was the perfect place to celebrate @kealakendall’s Hawaiian Gothic novel, which is out now and was chosen as a @sunnie select!

OC Public Libraries puts on the best author events OC Public Libraries puts on the best author events, and I loved celebrating the release of MS. MEBEL GOES BACK TO THE CHOPPING BLOCK by seeing Jesse Q. Sutanto in conversation with Morgan Matson a couple weeks ago.

It was so fun hearing about Jesse’s writing process as she’s such a fast writer. She shared that when she’s reaches the middle of a book, she checks into a hotel for three nights to finish writing the rest (which is around 40K words). So impressive!

Thank you @ocpubliclibraries for the fun evening and gifted book!
Thank you @read_bloom and @primevideo for the adva Thank you @read_bloom and @primevideo for the advance screening of @offcampusonprime!

Last night I had the chance to watch the first two episodes of Off Campus early! I really enjoyed what I’ve seen so far, especially the fun banter between the leads. I can’t wait to binge the rest of the series when it drops on May 13.

After the screening, Bloom Books also surprised us by announcing @ellekennedyauthor is returning to Briar University with a new book out this fall!

Huge shoutout to @theword_wanderer for bringing me along as her plus one for this event!

Swipe to the end for a throwback to when I met Belmont Cameli (aka Garrett Graham in the show!) at the Along for the Ride movie premiere a few years ago.
