Thank you @therippedbodice and @focusfeatures for Thank you @therippedbodice and @focusfeatures for the early screening of @sensesensibilityfilm!

It was so fun seeing SENSE & SENSIBILITY in a theater full of romance readers! Hearing the audience’s gasps, swooning, and laughter was top tier.

I loved the film! The drama! The yearning! The sisterhood! The casting! It was all so good.

I was also pleasantly surprised that it was funny too!? Going in I did not expect to laugh out loud as much as I did!

This one is for the eldest daughters (and the P&P 2005 girlies). Be sure to see it in theaters on October 16!

Last week team @getunderlined celebrated OUR STRAN Last week team @getunderlined celebrated OUR STRANGE DUET’s pub day by attending @masqueradenyc, an immersive production of the Phantom of the Opera, with a group of influencers!

After the show, we were able to host our party for @penchant4words within the Phantom’s Lair and everyone had a chance to explore the set. Our Christine aka @kaleyann_voo even joined the party in her costume! Truly an unforgettable night.

As part of planning this event, I was able to walkthrough the set a couple times during the day, so finally seeing the show was magical. It felt like we were actually in the story!

OUR STRANGE DUET is a must read for Phantom and Broadway fans! The audiobook is incredible and worth the listen—it features full cast narration AND music from the show (plus a whole slew of other sound effects). The @prhaudio team absolutely knocked this one out of the park.

A huge round of applause to my #TeamPRH colleagues for pulling off this event and everyone who joined us for this incredible evening. I’m still on cloud nine!
What a week! I got home yesterday from an incredib What a week! I got home yesterday from an incredibly busy work trip in New York (which I will be sharing all about very soon)!

Before I do, it’s time for my August recap. This past month was a slow reading month mostly because I started watching Bones for the first time and binged seasons one and two. Shoutout to @theword_wanderer for knowing I would love this show.

But I did listen to two audiobooks!

What were your highlights from August? Any new fave books?
Thanks @harlequinbooks and @hqn_shamelessromantics Thanks @harlequinbooks and @hqn_shamelessromantics for inviting me to the swoon-worthy Romance on Route 66 pop-up at @walmart!

It was so fun (even in the killer heat) checking out this romance-themed airstream at the last stop on its tour for the 100th anniversary of Route 66. What a cute way to take romance on the road and celebrate with readers across the country!
As an employee ambassador for @penguinrandomhouse, As an employee ambassador for @penguinrandomhouse, I want to take a moment to share a little bit about my job!

There’s some new faces here, so for those who don’t know me already . . . hi, I’m Jordan! I work on the audience engagement marketing team at @getunderlined and @randomhousekids, where I oversee the organic influencer and consumer shows strategy.

I’ve been part of #TeamPRH for almost four years (this October marks my anniversary!) and have loved my time here.

Swipe for a peek inside my job! And if you have burning questions, drop them below!

Here are some photos from the past four years! Even though I work fully remote from California, I travel a lot for my role, which allows me to attend events, see colleagues in real life, and meet tons of readers.

A huge part of my job this year has been planning influencer events! Last year I planned four influencer events—three dedicated to specific titles as well as the Underlined Lit Lounge.

We’ve already hosted SIX influencer events this year with more to come this fall! There’s one I am especially excited about happening in two weeks that I can’t wait to share here. So stay tuned! 👀

Some more photos! Last year I was invited to the We Were Liars premiere as part of working on the campaign team for the series—I first read this book when I was in high school (dreaming of working in publishing) so this was a full circle moment.
