What’s in your TBR this month?

Wishing a happy release week to TIME OUT! I love a good coming-of-age story, and I'm hoping to read this one this month.

Heartstopper meets Friday Night Lights in this keenly felt coming-of-age story about a teen hometown hero who must find out who he is outside of basketball when his coming out as gay costs him his popularity and place on the team.

In his small Georgia town, Barclay Elliot is basically a legend. Here basketball is all that matters, and no one has a bigger spotlight than Barclay. Until he decides to use the biggest pep rally in the town’s history to come out to his school. And things change. Quickly.

Happy Nancy Drew premiere day!! The fourth and final season of @cw_nancydrew begins TONIGHT and I’m so excited (but also not ready for this to be the end of the show).

Earlier this year I did a full series rewatch, so the all of the storylines are very fresh and I’m curious how everything will wrap up. Last night I also started reading THE CURSE, which is actually a prequel novel for the show!

What extracurricular activities did you do in school?

MY MECHANICAL ROMANCE is such a sweet YA romance! It’s dual POV and follows Bel and Teo as they lead their robotics team to victory. As someone who knows nothing about robotics, it was fun to learn more it and all the competitions involved.

I especially loved that Bel found a passion for engineering (yay for girls in STEM!) throughout the story and how her relationship with Teo went from rivals-to-friends-to-lovers. This book is perfect for fans of NEVER HAVE I EVER!

Yesterday was book club day! Loved discussing THE DO-OVER and SIZZLE REEL (and everything else we’ve all been reading lately) with the #YouHadMeAtRomance book club!
