Week 1 of ARC August has come to an end, and I was able to read two books this week!
The first book I read was Just Friends by Tiffany Pitcock! Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would, but it was still a pretty cute read. If you’re a fan of the friends-to-lovers trope, you will enjoy Chance and Jenny’s story. You can read my full review here + enter to win a copy of the book!
The second book I read was The Color Project by Sierra Abrams! I actually started reading this book back in July, but I finally finished it this week. The Color Project is actually a pretty long book for a YA contemporary, so I took my time reading it. However, just because I read it slowly, doesn’t mean I didn’t like it. In fact, I loved it! It was an adorable and heartfelt read, and I look forward to reading Sierra’s future novels. Full review here!
I managed to finish up four titles this week: The Perfect Game, Star Swept, Zinnia and the Bees, and My Fairy Godmother is a Drag Queen. Some were pretty good, others were rather disappointing. Hopefully next week will be better. 🙂
Way to go at reading four books, even if some were disappointing. Happy reading for this next week!
I finished one ARC and wrapping up one now. Pretty good since they were tucked in between some other reads. Hoping that since I finished my online class and my little girl goes back to school this week I can make a huge dent now in the next few weeks!
Which books? And hopefully you will get to some more this week!
Happy to hear that you enjoyed The Color Project! I can’t wait to read that one!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Not much lol I’m off to a rocky start but I’ve been averaging about 20 books per month so hopefully I’ll rebound here soon!
For What It’s Worth
You got this! Good luck!
I haven’t really made ANY ARC progress yet. It’s disheartening. But, my goal is only 2 ARCs in total… You’re going to kick my butt! Good luck on your challenge!
Thanks, Jackie! 😀
Great progress!!! Glad to see you enjoyed The Color Project as I have that on my radar.
Thanks, Grace! I hope you enjoy TCP!!
