Books I’m Thankful For This Year

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Today I’m sharing a few of the many books I’m thankful for for a variety of different reasons.

Whenever I think about books I’m thankful for, I have to start off with Nancy Drew. That series is what began my love for reading and will always hold a special place in my heart. I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have to Kill You is another special series to me as it introduced to me YA books! I’m also thankful for Clockwork Angel as all of my closest friends in high school read all the Shadowhunter books too and we  fangirled over them together!

Once I began blogging, I wanted to become friends with other bloggers and readers but wasn’t sure how. I’ll forever be grateful for Truthwitch as being part of the street team allowed me to connect with other readers. If you’ve been following this blog, you know by now I adore the Swoon Reads imprint. The first book I ever read from it was A Little Something Different, so I’m thankful for it for introducing me to som many new authors and swoony stories! Lastly, I’m thankful this year for Save the Date as I really saw myself in the main character, Charlie, and she helped me in my own life as I was experiencing a lot of change just like she was when I read the novel.

What books are you thankful for this year?

  • Nancy Drew was such a staple during my childhood. I remember my classmate Sara Jane turned me on to that series, and I devoured it. My blog was founded by my co-bloggers, who bonded over their love of the Shadowhunters. So, any and all Cassandra Clare books are important to WLABB. *High Five* to another Swoonreader. I love their books!

    • One my of my good friends in fourth grade turned me on to the Nancy Drew series too. I read all of the original ones as well as the Hardy Boys. I also read a lot of the spin-off series. The Navy Drew and Hardy Boys SuperMystery series was my favorite!
