Happy New Year, everyone! The Heart of a Book Blogger is going to start off the year by sharing some reading and blogging goals I have for this year!
- Read 70 books! (My Goodreads goal was 65 books last year)
- Stay active during the semester! (I tend to drop-off on Twitter during the school year and only post on the blog a couple times a month—I’m changing that this year!)
- Read books I own and finish series! (This was actually one of my goals from last year that I didn’t complete, but I’m determined to do better this year)
- Make more blogging friends! (I love making friends in the book community, but I’m not always the best at doing it…so I’m going to try harder this year! If you’re looking for more blogging friends too, feel free to start a conversation with me here or on Twitter!)

January 1, 2018 at 7:12 PMHappy new year! I really want to try and be more consistent with my blog as well. I tend to drop off the planet during semesters at school as well, but I am hoping to change that in the coming year! I would also love to have some blogging friends as well!

January 3, 2018 at 8:45 AMMy Goodreads challenge is 100 books and I REALLY want to make a BIG dent in my physical TBR pile. It’s at roughly 80-ish books now but I want to get down to below 50.

January 5, 2018 at 6:15 PMI haven’t set very many clearly defined goals as I ought to. Oh well. 😛
I do have a reading goal of 30 books. It really isn’t much, but I don’t want to have a stressful goal, either. Most of my other goals are writing related, I suppose. I do want to be better about posting regularly on my blog, but I’m also wanting to keep a better writing schedule for my novels.

February 20, 2018 at 8:18 PMThese are great goals! How are you doing so far? Dropping off of Twitter is my #1 fail every year.
Jordansays:
February 25, 2018 at 7:42 PMI’m doing okay! It’s definitely difficult juggling college and blogging, but I’m trying to stay active. I haven’t gotten to the finishing series goal yet, but I was planning on doing that during the summer anyway 🙂
