On the tenth day of YA book recommendations, I’m sharing two fantastic book-to-movie adaptations!
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is one of summer’s biggest hits, and I am so glad the sequel has finally been officially picked up by Netflix! This movie was just as charming as the book and was a truly accurate adaptation. It’s a new favorite rom-com of mine as Lana Condor and Noah Centineo’s chemistry is perfect and really brought their characters to life!
Another Netflix hit, Dumplin’ was released at the beginning of the month and it is an excellent adaptation. You don’t have to be a Dolly Parton fan in order to fall in love with this film. It’s such a fun and empowering movie with an excellent cast who brought the complicated relationships and feelings from the book to life. It’s the perfect choice for family movie night!

I really liked Dumplin, The Hate U Give, and Love Simon.
Love, Simon was SO good too! I haven’t had a chance to see THUG yet, but I am planning on renting it soon now that it’s out on dvd!
I didn’t know there was a “Dumplin'” adaptation! Jennifer Aniston is always very likable!
It’s on Netflix! You should definitely watch it!
