On the first day of YA book recommendations, I’m sharing a fantasy series!
Kingdom of Ash and Briars is the perfect fantasy novel for fans of fairytales. While it’s not a strict retelling, the story is inspired by the tales of Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Mulan. Hannah West seamlessly blends these different stories together to create a world full of magic, politics, and war. A companion novel, Realm of Ruins, was recently released and pulls from a new set of fairytales, one of which is Beauty and the Beast.
